WiCo Inspections receives a formal accreditation from FINAS

WiCo Inspections Oy is the first formally accredited inspection body, which is focusing on wind power inspections. The Finnish national accreditation body, FINAS has issued us a formal accreditation for inspecting wind turbine safety equipment and elevators. In addition, WiCo Inspections offers inspection for the entire wind parks – everything from the substation to the tip of the blade.

WiCo Inspections achieved this major milestone in December 2020, when it became the first nationally accreditated company by FINAS. WiCo Inspections’ services are in line and fully comply with the new regulations set by the Finnish Government in the act 1095/2019 (in Finnish). As an accreditated company for wind power servicing, WiCo Inspections continues to develop the wind power scene in Finland according to the needs of the contractors and developers.

We are also nominated for the annual award given by the Finnish Wind Power Association (in Finnish). The Finnish Wind Power Association awards a business, an act or action which has sped up, supported or driven wind power to new heights in Finland.
